摘要

According to a National Energy Board of Canada (NEB) report issued last week by its Strategy Analysis Business Unit, the world economic outlook is the primary uncertainty for energy prices this winter. There are plans to decrease the risk of bank turmoil in Europe, and the commodity and equity markets are regaining ground from the recent heavy losses. Seasonal demand increases in the winter may curb further energy price declines. Overall, though, there is an adequate supply of oil, natural gas, and electricity for Canadian markets this winter.
