摘要

According to a recent forecast from Houston-based Purvin & Gertz, Inc., new development projects, primarily from Brazil, Canada, Iraq, West Africa, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (former Soviet Republics), will lead the growth of total world oil production, especially over the next five years. In fact, by 2030, total production could exceed 90 million b/d (see Figure 1; all graphics from Purvin & Gertz). By 2015, output from new developments is expected to exceed 15 million b/d, split between OPEC and non-OPEC countries, Purvin & Gertz said in its report, 2010 Global Crude Oil Market Outlook.
