Mesaieed Petrochemical IPO Raises $880-MM

Doha— Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qatar Petroleum, raised $880-million in an initial public offering of nearly 26 of the company's shares (PCN, 6 Jan 2014, p 3). The offer, available only to Qatari private citizens, ended on 21 Jan., but details on who purchased the shares have not yet been disclosed.
