Pumps for Drinking Water Supply

At the end of October 2007, KSB Aktiengesellschaft, Frankenthal, received the assignment to deliver 46 pumps for a desalination plant for seawater based on reverse osmosis to Sydney, Australia. The construction of the new desalination plant for seawater in Kurnell, a suburb of Sydney, is supposed to ensure the water supply for the rapidly growing population in the coming years. If required, the capacity of the plant can be increased to 500,000 cubic meters per day.
