FILTER COMPANY RECEIVES SEVERAL NEW INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Outotec (www.outotec.com) has recently been award-ed several new orders and contracts from around the world. The first order, from the Australian engineering firm Lycopodium Minerals (www.lycopodium.com.au), is valued at ca. ?10 million and for the delivery of pro-cess equipment to Toro Gold’s (www.torogold.com) greenfield concentrator in Mako, Senegal. Outotec’s scope of work includes the design and delivery of an 8 MW semi-autogenous grinding mill, a mill reline ma-chine, a high rate thickener, and services including spare parts. The new concentrator will process 1.8 million tonnes of ore annually from local deposits. “We are pleased to be chosen to deliver our advanced pro-cess equipment to the new Mako plant. This order sees the continuation of Outotec’s long relationship with Lycopodium to successfully deliver process equipment for gold projects in West Africa”, said Kalle H?rkki, Head of Outotec’s Minerals Processing Busi-ness Unit.
