Feeding systems help farmers boost profits

THE RH MultiFeeder stand proved very popular at Aqua Nor 2007, the major aquaculture exhibition held last August in the city of Trondheim. Stand D-363 was a meeting point for producers of salmon and other fish species, who came from countries including Australia, India, Norway, Spain, Turkey and Chile. The company displayed its equipment and automated feeding systems, which use state-of-the-art technology. Visitors enjoyed the live presentation by webcam of the tanks from the Salmar hatchery in the neighbourhood of Trondheim, which has about 50 tanks with varying dimensions and recently incorporated 14 tanks of 200m~3 each, holding three million smolts per year. This hatchery relies on the RH Multi-Feeder for freshwater system.
