The new SP300 smart positioner from Spirax Sarco offers extensive digital communications capabilities enabling it to be used in a wide variety of process automation environments.The SP300 is compatible with HART,Profibus PA and Foundation Fieldbus protocols.The smart positioner is also compatible with all pneumatic actuator types,including piston actuators.This enables plants to standardise on the SP300,irrespective of valve type,reducing the cost of maintenance and spares stockholdings.
