Australia's first female masters of wine

The Institute of Masters of Wine has announced that Australia has two new Masters of Wine, the first Australian women to have achieved this top international wine qualification in the 14 years since Michael Hill Smith became the first Australian Master of Wine in 1988. They are Meg Brodtmann and Toni Paterson. This now brings to 13, the number of Australian Masters of Wine. They work within such areas of the industry as winemaking, marketing, education, wine consulting, auctioneering, wine judging,wine writing and wine buying.
