ECMA has recently moved from an umbrella organisation towards a 'Network of Business Networks' for the European folding carton industry. Business networking can be considered as one of the cornerstones of the Association and will in future form a major part of their activities. This year's ECMA Congress in Copenhagen (19th and 20th September) takes a special look at progress made in each of the five elements of ECMA's Roadmap. It will start with a keynote presentation by Johan Peter Paludan, Director of the Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies who will present a vision of the world after the information Society. Marcde Vos, Director of the Belgian think tahk Itinera Institute, will then address the various scenarios for Europe afterthe current financial crisis.
