The AFS Leadership Institute - Are we leading ourselves down the garden path?

The "Director's Line" in the April 2002 issue of Fisheries outlined a vision for AFS-sponsored leadership training. A year has passed and some significant progress has been made. Three leadership workshops were presented at the Annual Meeting in Baltimore and a symposium was held for members to provide feedback on the need for and content of a leadership training program.
