MINUTES OF THE ZONAL CONFERENCE FOR ASSESSMENT OF REQUIREMENT OF FERTILIZERS FOR RABI 2015-16 SEASON HELD ON 26th AUGUST, 2015

In the Zonal Conference, the main issues raised and discussed were as follow: (a) JS (INM) emphasized on the promotion of balanced use of fertilisers. She also stated that Government of India has made it mandatory to produce 100% neem coated urea and therefore, requested States to educate farmers about benefits of neem coated urea. Further, she informed that programmes/ jingles etc on neem coated urea and Soil Health Card etc are also being prepared by Doordarshan/ AIR and will be telecast/ broadcast soon.
