India contracts nearly 3 million tonnes of DAP in February

Indian importers have secured another long-term DAP supply contract this week after JPMC agreed to supply IPL with 500,000 mt of Jordanian DAP for March 2009-February 2010 shipment priced on a formula basis. IPL's new contract with JPMC puts the total contracted volume of imported DAP agreed in February at 2.95 million tonnes of DAP.
