摘要

The two-wave mixing effective gain in cubic optically active photorefractive crystals is studied as a function of the holographic grating vector orientation, polarization of interacting light waves, and crystal thickness. It is shown that the contribution of the piezoelectric effect in such crystals changes qualitatively the beam coupling and conditions of its optimization. The crystal thickness dependence of the orientation angles, at which the beam coupling in BSO crystal is optimized, is found for the first time for fixed polarization of incident light waves.
