Oxygen Management At Channel Caffish Hatcheries

In studies that compared the performance of catfish eggs in water aerated with air or enhanced with liquid oxygen, eggs hatched six hours earlier with the lower-oxygen incubation, but had lower survival and reached swim-up stage 31 hours later. Critical oxygen levels increased during egg incubation and peaked during the last day of incubation.
