Lessons Learned: Shrimp Producers, Buyers Face Challenging Decisions As U.S. Antidumping Process Continues

Administrative reviews for exporters subject to U.S. antidumping duties have showed that shrimp exporters that didn't fully cooperate with the process faced generally higher tariffs. Some that did cooperate improved their positions. Exporters that worked closely with importers also gained an advantage. The possibility of receiving payments has motivated domestic producers to seek continued antidumping reviews.
