摘要

This paper discusses the impact of rapidly rising raw material costs on the feed industry in the UK, which has been significant as exhibited by a series of company results. It is established that if the production of the feed grains and oilseeds does not, or cannot, respond to the demand, then it is likely that the high prices that the UK feed industry has seen in the last two years will become the trend.
