Cooperative Elevator Co., Pigeon, MI, recently added a 650,000-bushel GSI steel tank at its Akron, MI facility. The new tank brings the location's storage capacity to 1.78 million bushels. CEO Patricia Anderson said the reason for adding a tank was simple. "Last year, we let some of the corn go to our competition, so we weren't going to let that happen again," Anderson said.
