摘要

Adding yeast culture to feed can benefit dairy cows making the transition to lactation and those suffering from heat stress. Dairy cows face a variety of problems during a four to five week period when they make the transition to lactation. They tend to consume less dry matter pre-calving and experience a negative energy balance post-calving. Anything that minimises these transitional effects and resulting weight loss can help avoid metabolic disorders and reduced production.
