摘要

Madam, Allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is a potentially life-saving treatment for haematologi-cal malignancies. Despite the potentially curative effect of HSCT, utilization is limited by the availability of suitable donors, and by adverse events such as the development of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). Certain viral infections have been reported to increase the risk of development of acute GVHD (aGVHD). In particular, herpes simplex virus (HSV), cytomegalovirus (CMV) and human herpesvirus (HHV)-6 have been associated with a higher incidence of aGVHD.
