During the past 12 months, the pages of GGP has been filled with a great deal of column inches surrounding the Green Deal. Understandably, the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) has worked hard to ensure that if such a deal goes ahead, then the manufacturers and installers of glass related products should be included within the requirements laid down by the government. Part of the requirement of glazing companies wishing to win projects under the government's Green Deal initiative, is that they must prove their competence to undertake such work. Therefore, firms must demonstrate that their workforce meet certain minimum technical competencies (MTC).
