U.S.-based medium- and heavy-duty truck sales and service giant Rush Enterprises announced July 25 that second-quarter (2Q) 2012 net income rose to US$17.4 million, up from $12.5 million in 2Q 2011. The company mostly sells and services diesel-powered trucks, although its natural gas-powered truck sales and service unit recently has become another new growth center.
