U.S. Truck-Sales Bellwether Sees 2012 Net Income Rise 11%

U.S.-based truck-sales and service-dealership giant Rush Enterprises announced February 13 that its 2012 net income rose 11% year-over-year, to US$62.5 million. Rush also reported record annual revenues of $3.1 billion in 2012, compared to $2.6 billion in 2011. The company also realized a 30% hike in medium-duty truck sales and expanded its “Rush Truck Centers” network to include 78 dealership locations.
