Kia Boosts ‘Soul’ EV Battery Performance, Range

Kia announced February 12 that it has developed a novel new heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) technology along with improved electrical systems and an improved powertrain for its “Soul” electric vehicle (EV). The “Soul” EV is scheduled to debut in North American and European markets later in 2014. Company engineers aim to offer consumers 124 miles of range between battery recharge, according to Kia.
