摘要

20-30-somethings are used to achievements - because they've attended school most of their lives and they know how to work and play hard. They're the best-educated generation in the U.S., and many have advanced college degrees. However, they're also the generation who wants to slow down and enjoy their lives. This doesn't make them lazy. They're simply looking for something more fulfilling than their day job. Gardening can give them the tools to pause and breatheagain. Although Millennials buy a lot of garden tools and other hardware, it doesn't mean they're actually digging in the dirt. Many didn't grow up with their grandparents or parents nearby to guide them, so they didn't learn the skills needed to succeed at gardening -along with the ability to accept failure when it comes.
