摘要

Today, linear charge-coupled device (CCD) array pushbioom sensors are widely used to acquire panchromatic (Pan), multispectral and stereoscopic imagery in a pushbroom mode for photogrammetry and remote-sensing applications. With the linear array pushbroom scanners on board French SPOT imaging satellites, each line of the scanner image has an individual and different perspective centre, instead of the single perspective centre for a whole image that exists with the frame photographs acquired by metric aerial or space-borne cameras. Two factors need to be taken into consideration when employing well-known collinearity equations of photogrammetry to relate corresponding points in image space and object space. One is the need to estimate and reconstruct the three-dimensional coordinates of the individual perspective centre for each individual line of a linear array pushbroom image.
