The US will become a net energy exporter and Henry Hub spot prices will rise by more than 85% from current levels in the coming years, according to the latest forecasts by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA). In the next two years, the US will become a net exporter of gas and, depending on the oil price, the country could halt all energy imports in 2028, according to the EIA annual energy outlook published on Tuesday.
