The final terms of the Egypt Mediterranean Gas’ (EMG) agreement to supply LNG to Israel’s Dorad Energy have been met with strong opposition as critics claim the price agreed is far lower than the international average.EMG, an Egyptian-Israeli energy consortium, will supply LNG to Israeli firm Dorad Energy for a total reported cost of between $2.1 billion and $3.3 billion. Egypt formally signed the supply agreement on July 28, agreeing to supply between 12.5-16 Bcm of LNG to Israel over a period of between 17 and 22 years.
