SHARES: BP and PetroChina lead gains (29 September – 13 October)

The entire cohort of surveyed companies posted share price gains during the fortnight to 13 October, with BP and PetroChina recording the largest increases at just over 17%. International benchmark Brent crude prices ended the period 1.7% higher at around USD 49.24/barrel, while US benchmark WTI closed 3.5% higher at around USD 46.66/barrel.
