Optimization of natural land management using models for erosion processes

摘要

The implementation of a predictive model for sediment dynamics at the field scale is described for the optimization of erosion control and soil conservation practices. The model is derived from the equations set up in the EuroSEM and WEPP models. Itis simplified and adapted for usage through a spreadsheet in order to make a user-friendly tool for everyday design activities towards cost reduction. Its use in the Rio Busca area is described.
