摘要

Deformation and fracture features of annealed ribbons of cobalt-based metallic glass during indentation were studied depending on the temperature, applied load, and type of substrates with various mechanical properties. The method for determining the cracking susceptibility of metallic glass was proposed, which allows one to study cracking in microvolumes (upon local heating or in the region of the laser thermal effect) and to determine the ductile-to-brittle transition temperature of a material.
