Kunshan Carbon Dioxide Co. Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Suzhou jinhong Gas Co. Ltd, has started up a carbon dioxide (CO2) production plant in Kunshan, southeast Jiangsu province and adjacent to Shanghai. The area of the site is 10,000m~2, while the plant - a CO2 recovery plant in cooperation with the China Salt Group - has a design capacity of 200,000 tonnes of food grade CO2 and 5,000 tonnes of dry ice peryear.
