Bergen Group wins Yme work...

Bergen Group Rosenberg has signed a contract with Talisman Energy for long term onshore housing and maintenance of the mobile work-over rig for the Yme platform offshore Norway.The company is in the process of testing the rig under a contract with Odim JMC in the main assembly hall at Buoy, Stavanger.As part of this testing, a 270m (886ft) 'well' has been drilled and fitted with casing. The 'well' will be used during mechanical testing of equipment on the work-over rig.The contract runs through until October 2013 with optional extensions for periods of two years through the lifetime of the Yme platform.
