Wintershall ups output, cuts costs

Wintershall produced 130m boe of oil and gas in 2008, boosted by its takeover of Norway's Revus Energy. Following the takeover, Wintershall is now one of the biggest licence holders on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, with a total of 60 exploration licences. The company also has interests in 30 licences in the UK.
