Wintershall Under Pressure As Libya Cuts Output

Libya's state National Oil Corp. (NOC) has struck again, this time cutting output from fields operated by Germany's Wintershall. The move to slash production by 15,000 b/d from the company's C-96 and C-97 concessions is aimed, PIW is told, at putting pressure on the company, with Russian state partner Gazprom, to agree to tougher Epsa-4 contract terms. Output prior to the cut was 92,000 b/d.
