ANCILLARIES The drive technologies division of Siemens has introduced the CU250S-2 control unit series with positioning capabilities for use within the Sinamics G120 drive system. The new control unit supports vector control with encoder feedback and has integrated safety functions. It replaces the CU240S control unit. The new unit supports single-axis applications with induction motors, general positioning tasks and applications that require multiple l/Os.
