HDPE higher as over-supply eases

A similar picture emerged to L/ LDPE for the HDPE sector in December. Producers targeted price increases of euro 30/tonne but notations failed to show much upward development during the first week of the month. By midmonth however, HDPE prices were increasing between euro 20-30/ tonne. Blown film grades, which had fallen the sharpest in November, rebounded strongly in December.
