ETPs: POM / PMMA edge higher

Polyacetal producer calls for price increases of EUR150/tonne in Q4 were largely unheeded. However, with methanol prices rising sharply in Q1 (up EUR110/ tonne) following the EUR162/ tonne rise in Q4, POM prices started to move higher from January. Natural unreinforced grade prices were at least EUR50/ tonne higher at the lower end of the scale by the end of January with lower increases reported at the higher end of the price scale. Reinforced grades were mosuy unchanged. Prices were rolled over in February due to a temporary lull in demand but edged higher once again in March.
