Women's quality of life (QoL) is peremptory!In this context, there are two challenging problems within the urological landscape: urinary incontinence (UI) and women's sexual health. A huge scientific discrepancy exists between the two, with UI being more common and familiar to the practical urologist and the clinical researcher than female sexual dysfunction (FSD), which-most of the time-is considered of major interest to and a scientific attraction for the gynaecologist. However, although it is true that the gynaecologist does not have a robust tradition in the field of human sexuality, clinical gynaecologists do have a comprehensive knowledge of the sex steroid hormonal milieu, with its potential impact on women's sexual function. Therefore, urologists have both the option of and the responsibility for dealing with women's QoL.What has European Urology proposed in these fields during recent years?
