MESNAC appoints tech centre boss

US: MESNAC has appointed Dr K. Mohamed Hassan as the executive director of their new research and technical centre in Akron, Ohio. He has an "extensive academic background" from the University of Alexandria, Egypt and the University of Akron where he gained his PhD in polymer engineering. He also held technical and engineering positions at tire companies in the US and Egypt.
