One of the reasons Nokian Tyres leads the premium segment in Russia is that the company makes studded tyres every minute of every day at its factories in Russia and in Finland. The only other tyre maker who can make that claim is Cordiant, which sells slightly more tyres in the region than Nokian. Nokian's higher selling price, however, means it takes the lead in terms of value of sales in the region.
