Data are tabulated on the reproductive and litter performance of sows of 3 named lines and families of the Vitebsk type, and on these traits at 8 named breeding farms, complexes and other farms. Overall, for 644 sows, litter size at birth and weaning averaged 10.32 and 9.8 respectively, litter weight at weaning 171.4 kg, and piglet survival rate 94.5%.
