Suspicion of price fixing falls on rubber industry

One antitrust investigation into the rubber industry seems unfortunate, two is a bit too much of a coincidence, but three in as many months is cause for real concern. I wondered a bit when the European and US authorities launched their investigation into rubber chemicals suppliers. I was surprised when they did the same with carbon black. Now, with a similar investigation into possible price fixing in EPDM, I have to believe that someone is blowing the whistle on long-established practices.
