摘要

A 1D organic-inorganic hybrid polyoxometalate chain has been used as a non-coordinating anionic template for the construction of a novel 3D copper halide 4,4'-bipy framework, namely [(Cu3CI)-C-I(4,4'-bipy)(4)][Cu-II(1,10-phen)(2)MO8O26]. X-ray diffraction experiments revealed that the title compound consists of chloride-bridged trinuclear Cu-I units linked by neutral organic 4,4'-bipy groups into a 3D frame-work with hexagon-like channels in which 1D organic-inorganic hybrid polyoxometalate chains reside. This is the first example of a 1D organic-inorganic hybrid polyoxometalate chain functioning as a novel anionic template for the construction of a 3D framework.
