摘要

This article deals with modeling of weakly nonlinear three-dimensional perturbations propagating simultaneously in different directions along the interface between two shallow layers of fluid flowing at constant velocities. It is shown that plane or quasi-plane solitary waves of different polarity can travel simultaneously. Interaction processes of both extended and solitary perturbations of small but finite amplitude are calculated. It is shown that attenuation of recurrent waves or, conversely, intensification of perturbations moving in the opposite directions can be observed.
