From Heidolph Instruments comes the "RZR" range of laboratory stirrers. The stirrer shaft may be guided through the housing manually so that the impellers can be set at any height as desired. The instrument has a two-stage gear, guaranteeing high force throughout the speed range, even when operating over long periods in polymer research. The electronic models keep the speed constant even when there are marked fluctuations in viscosity, and can be overloaded to up to 200 % for brief periods without interrupting the stirring operation.
