摘要

The in vitro bioactivity of tricalcium silicate (Ca_3SiO_5) ceramics was investigated by the bone-like apatite-formation ability in simulated body fluid (SBF), and the cytocompatibility was evaluated through osteoblast adhesion and proliferation assay. The results show that the Ca_3SiO_5 ceramics possess bone-like apatite formation ability in SBF. In vitro cytocompatible evaluation reveals that osteoblasts adhere and spread well on the Ca_3SiO_5 ceramics, indicating good bioactivity and cytocompatibility.
