Swiss specialty chemical company Clariant announced January 29 that it partnered with Haltermann and Mercedes-Benz in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of its branded “sunliquid” cellulosic ethanol derived from wheat straw at a 20% concentration in conventional gasoline (E20) to assess optimal driving performance on the biofuel blend.
