摘要

Forty kale genotypes/lines were evaluated for yield and yield attributing traits during rabi of 2004-05 at three random locations of the valley. Pooled analysis over environments indicated presence of considerable variability in the present set of materials that should enable their use in future improvement programs. Early picking and high leaf yield in SH-K-12, SH-K-13. SH-K-6, SH-K-8, SH-K-7 and SH-K-16 among comparatively dwarf genotypes and Khanyari, Kawdari, SH-K-27, SH-K-28, SH-K-30, SH-K-32 and SH-K-33 among taller genotypes could be utilized for commercial growing and could be selected for hybridization so as to bring future improvement in the available germplasm resources.
