Santosh Mahanti: What is the current status of your rail project at your Raigarh works? What is the installed capacity of the Mill?V.K. Gujral: The installation of a State-of-the-Art Rail and Universal Beam Mill at Raigarh Works of JSPL is proceeding as per schedule and the project is in advanced stage of completion. The civil foundation and fabrication and erection of the building structure are complete to the extent of 90 per cent and 75 per cent respectively. The erection of the Reheating Furnace located at the head end of the mill in which the refractory lining work has commenced and it is expected that this work will be completed soon and the Furnace will be ready by middle of this year. The erection of the Mechanical Equipment and Electrical Equipment has commenced at the Breakdown Mill and is proceeding towards Intermediate, Roughing and Finishing Mill end. The 200T EOT Crane which is needed for the erection of the Mill Stands has been erected at the Mill Bay. This will accelerate the pace of erection work considerably.
