You're in the jungle. It's hot. You're wet. It could be sweat or rain. You don't care any more. Your mosquito bites are itching and you've scratched them raw. They're now prime sites for botfly eggs, which will hatch into maggots under your skin. Didyou take your anti-malarials this morning? No? Well, look on the bright side. The place is full of animals, apparently. The trouble is you can't see for more than a few yards, but you can hear intriguing noises 30 metres above you in the canopy - where it's probably sunny.
